Slip ring assemblies

Slip ring assemblies are used for the transfer of power and data. We can manufacture custom units that combine power slip rings with signal / optical / hydraulic rotary joints.

Power channels utilise Phosphor Bronze rings in conjunction with either Copper graphite or Silver graphite brushes. Signal channels make use of silver to silver contacts, or where applicable, fibre optic rotary joints (FORJs).

We are able to design slip ring assemblies from concept using the latest 3D design techniques. We can produce virtual 3D images that give a vivid impression of a new design. There are limitless possibilities for new products.

In addition to the assembly we are also able to design and supply wiring looms / harnesses for quick connect and disconnect purposes.
