Miniature Screws & Fasteners

Our standard line of fasteners are made of brass and 303 stainless steel. Not every head style is available from stock, but most brass screws are available in hex head, round head, flat head, and oval fillister head. Brass lengths start at 3/32″ (.094″ or 2.4 mm) and go up to ½” (.500 or 12.7 mm). Don’t let these catalog standards limit you though. We often have specials in stock that fit a customer’s needs or we can make special sizes to your specifications.

Stainless steel screws are available in standard sizes with flat head or fillister head starting with 0000-160 (say “four-aught 160″) threads and lengths from 1/16″ (.062 inch or 1.6 mm) up to ¼” (.250 inch or 6.3 mm).

Self-tapping screws can be screwed into predrilled holes without pre-tapping. Our smaller sizes (000 and 00) are frequently used by neurology research facilities to attach electrodes to the skull (not for human use). A 000 (say “triple aught”) thread is 0.8 mm diameter and a 00 (say “double aught”) is 1.1 mm diameter. Some labs prefer these to be gold plated and we can provide this service on request.
