CNC long turning is a specialized turning process that focuses on the machining of long, slender workpieces. It is often used for the production of bar stock or thin components where the ratio of length to diameter is high.

Long turning, also known as sliding headstock turning, is particularly suitable for the production of long and slim long turned parts such as shafts, pins or rods.

• Production of long turned parts in single-part production and small to large series

• Manufacture of long turned parts with a diameter from 4 mm to approx. 100 mm

• Bar machining up to a diameter of 80 mm
